One of Tom’s Favorite things to do, growing up in Atascadero was going to Stoltey’s Malt Shop, or as Tome called it, “Uncle Jim’s”. Tom loved Whipped Cream so one day his aunt gave him the biggest bowl full that any kid could imagine. Today, when ever O’Malley’s Ice Cream Parlor set’s up its historic displays, more reminiscent of the Ice Cream Parlor in Atascadero’s 1915 Tent City, Tom makes sure kids have as much fun as he did at his “Uncle Jim’s”.
