Portola Inn offers the perfect setting for your very special wedding and reception. Located on California’s central coast, we provide one-stop wedding planning, including vendor coordination of your photographer, caterer, wait staff and more. Our staff provides parking attendants, a crew to set up and take down tables and chairs, and assistance with décor. Linens, tables, and chairs are included. With eight distinct venues on site, groups of every size and age will find a comfortable space for their activities. Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Parking areas, paths, and venue spaces are beautifully lit for your safety and convenience. Our Guest House and Master Suite can each accommodate 4 guests, ideal for wedding party overnight stays after rehearsals and preparation on the next day.
Oak Tree Garden Terrace
Is the entrance to this area. Sitting under one of our most majestic oaks and can seat up to 60. Sit and enjoy the sunset with family and friends!
Oak Tree Garden Lawn
Also known as the “Ceremony Lawn” is also a beautiful place for a Ceremony of up to 100 guests. Situated under the canopy of giant oak trees, facing west, photographers love the filtered lighting by day and exquisite up lighting at night for pictures that will offer lifetime memories! There is often a sweet coastal breeze, keeping the area comfortable on even a hot day. Breathe in the country air and views!
Ancient Oak Terrace
Sits beneath the oldest and most impressive live oak at Portola Inn. Here groups of up to 60 can dine under the oak and over artistically laid cobblestone. This space sits in front of our Guest House and includes a lighted gazebo and bubbling turtle fountain. There is easy access for caterers to set up a buffet, plated dinner, or food stations. Enjoy the beauty of nature, at its finest!
Carriage House & Terrace
Sits at the front of the property. It can accommodate up to 60 guests for an indoor ceremony, if weather does not permit use of the beautiful grounds, still visible through large windows. It can also accommodate up to 48 guests for a sit-down dinner and after reception dancing for all your guests. The warmth of finished pine and romantic lighting add to the intimacy of your event. A wall of windows looks out onto a deck, firepit, and garden filled with fruit trees and vegetables. With a stage, big screen, and dance floor entertainment is a breeze. Your catering staff will be pleased to see serving, and kitchen prep areas. Relax and enjoy your event!
