“Chris and I got married on May 22, 2010 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience or venue! Peggy and Tom are very accommodating and tried their hardest to make everything as stress-free, smooth and easy as possible. Their generosity and accessories list allowed us to save money on decorations that we would have otherwise bought ourselves; it was fantastic that they did the set-up and take-down with the chairs, tables, tablecloths and dinnerware which was included in the venue price. Peggy did a fantastic job helping organize and coordinating the wedding day and we didn’t have to worry about a thing! The Portola Inn is an absolutely gorgeous venue that has a Spanish Hacienda/Mediterranean villa feel to it (which is exactly what we were looking for) which is not very common around the Central Coast. The garden and cobblestone terrace is to die for and the large, old oak trees give it a beautiful, natural ambiance. It felt like we were getting married at home but not-so-much at the same time – which is exactly what we wanted, and at a reasonable price! Thanks for making it a great, once-in-a-lifetime experience, Tom and Peggy!”
